Alright but I'm not understanding why they would rather booked with points than free nights.
By booked did u mean upgrade?
Simple by using points u show loyalty to the brand because how else would u have gotten them (they don't think cc) if not by staying at hotels. Free nights they don't feel like you did anything or spent money by Marriott to deserve anything. And most suites are residence they have to "pay" to use them so why give the room to someone who never spends money on the brand.
Waj  told.me the same thing they upgrade quicker to people who come on points then free nights.
I was told one of the rare times they upgraded a guy to the presidential suite was when a guy dropped over a million points on a 1br suite for a few days.

That's really interesting and I wouldn't have thought of it...maybe that's why I've gotten good upgrades at both the TA Hilton and WAJ.

I find it hard to believe that hotels know the difference between a certificate booking and a points booking.

It's listed on the number of reservations.  I just booked a premium room reservation and when I called in to change it, the CSR was like "wow, that's a lot of points!"

On the reservation on their computer it says the type of stay points or certificate, bc if cancel u get back what u used to book so definitely is a way to know how was booked

Free pool access right? And is there any way to get free breakfast on an award night?

Does anyone have any experience using a reward certificate or booking with points and having more than 2 guests in the room? My husband and I want to bring our kids (5,4,2) with us, and wonder if they would force us to book two rooms or not.
I don't believe this was answered. Can anyone answer this? Do you need to pay for kids? If so, how much does it cost per child? It will be booked on award certificate.

Anybody stayed here over Sukkot?  Do the have a nice Sukkah?  I was thinking to stay part of the time here or at the Hilton TA (they told me they have a huge sukkah in their big outdoor dining area where they have their dairy restaurant) and then last days in Jerusalem.

Just curious if anyone had thoughts about whether it was doable or not or a bad idea.  Didn't know also if the kosher restaurants near there put up sukkahs (I'm always shocked in the US how many restaurants don't even try to put up one).

Depends on how.many kids, the ages, and how big the room usually will give.one crib or cot free depending on room but usually they are ok with extra kids.
I have gone with my 3 kids aged 3,2 and 3 month old and had no problem got upgraded to suite and sent me both a cot and crib and had sofa bed
