Making an award booking for someone else at Herziliyah and have 2 questions -
 1) does the hotel offer late checkout on motz shab (i assume they do) and
2)does the person need to bring his passport?

1) they offer late checkout, but they might charge you 500 NIS

2) yes

Thank you - is this YMMV or is it their general policy? Anybody else have this experience?

I'm only a gold member, so status won't really help here.

Thanks I emailed them and said that it would be complementary for my specific booking (i'm guessing they don't have many reservations for this motz shab). Usually a $125 fee.

Any benefits for Marriott Gold if redeeming a week stay using Tier 1-3 certificate from Nights and Flights promo?

Do they generally upgrade rooms at check in or do you need to request prior?

Still no free breakfast for Plats here?

Are there decent mehadrin places to eat in the area for a 3 night stay?
