Possibly.

Any chances of a seminar?

Hilton tlv has a lounge and they are very good with upgrades . The Ritz mostly sold out their suites as residence so they don't like upgrading higher then one category of go on free night but if go on points they usually upgrade well ( past 2 summers went for 5 nights and got a 1br suite) and recently sen people for a night on points  and they both got the duplex suite.
No they don't have a lounge or give free breakfast which is annoying but overall very enjoyable especially with kids as it's quieter then by tlv and it's near the kosher beach and the part before the kosher section is usually empty so good place to go with family and no pritzus

Interesting, so there is a separate swim beach nearby?

Please don't i was in Ritz past 2 summers (and plan on going again this summer) and was such a difference between 2 years ago and last year. 2 years ago was before Ritz was giving free nights and place was still newish ,very friendly and good with upgrades bc everyone went on points.
Last year especially bc  of 3 free nights place was a zoo. Staff was overworked and bothered all the time (given they just had a major turnover on staff right before summer and weren't ready for when everyone came).and the credit card gives gold status and everyone felt entitled to a suite and if they didn't get one which almost no one did (they got an upgraded room) only.people on points got suites. I even overheard a lady having a fight by check in that she only wanted a suite and demanded one since she was gold  and if not available now wanted to put on a waiting list. check-in person said calmly ma'am everyone here did what u did they got the credit card are here for 3 nights and are gold so nothing we can do and we don't hold rooms even if something opens up while you are here u have to keep asking in case a room opens up.  It was such a chillul hashem, though was convenient we had a 830 shachris and mincha maariv everyday i was there

Yes there are 2 beaches one on each side of marina one side is public and one side though further down like 10-15 min walk has a separate beach which alternates days for men and women.

1st time got Marriott 80k me and wife and hotel back then was only 40k a night.
Then got the Ritz when was giving 140k sign up so used those last year
and this year going 7 nights from vacation package which comes up as a 5 night stay in points and 2 day stay on points so reservation has 300k points spent .

Alright but I'm not understanding why they would rather booked with points than free nights.

By booked did u mean upgrade?
Simple by using points u show loyalty to the brand because how else would u have gotten them (they don't think cc) if not by staying at hotels. Free nights they don't feel like you did anything or spent money by Marriott to deserve anything. And most suites are residence they have to "pay" to use them so why give the room to someone who never spends money on the brand.
Waj  told.me the same thing they upgrade quicker to people who come on points then free nights.
I was told one of the rare times they upgraded a guy to the presidential suite was when a guy dropped over a million points on a 1br suite for a few days.

That's really interesting and I wouldn't have thought of it...maybe that's why I've gotten good upgrades at both the TA Hilton and WAJ.

I find it hard to believe that hotels know the difference between a certificate booking and a points booking.

It's listed on the number of reservations.  I just booked a premium room reservation and when I called in to change it, the CSR was like "wow, that's a lot of points!"

On the reservation on their computer it says the type of stay points or certificate, bc if cancel u get back what u used to book so definitely is a way to know how was booked
