Finally used my nights/flights certificates that I have extended several times already - 2 back to back weeks at the Ritz. They upgraded us to a beautiful, large suite. The facilities and service are truly excellent. We were there for 2 Shabbosim which turned out to be wonderful! Met great ppl and even joined other ppl for the 1st Friday night dinner we were there. The Friday night food is pretty good bit IMHO nothing to get too excited over, but definitely good enough. They quoted us $100 pp for dinner but on the bill at check out both Fri nt dinners were $82pp. Breakfast on Shabbos morning after davening is until noon so we ate there and were good until after Shabbos. Both times came to $34pp. They actually serve cholent and shnitzel at the pool bar but we really weren't into going up to the pool on Shabbos, however some ppl we met did and brought the food back to their room and said it was really good. Spa and pool are both really great and the evening sunsets on the beach totally geshmak! Of course kosher food options are limited but enough. We repeated the same restaurants over and over but was fine with us as we were just their to chill and use up those Marriott certificates!
Must have missed this when you posted it last month. Thanks so much for the details, it's really helpful! I'm also using up a week cert on CHM Sukkot and this is super helpful, would have never thought to pay for breakfast on Shabbat (amazing that it's open until Noon!) and then get food to bring to the room for "seudah shlishit"...who knew it was such a frum pool bar, serving cholent!
This is our first time staying here instead of the Hilton TA and I'm bummed no breakfast or lounge (I know, boo hoo, my big problems)
but I'm getting really excited. Thanks again and looking forward to our women's DO at the WAJ!
