Is the deluxe marina room worth the $175 upgrade? Gold member, traveling with a toddler FWIW.

Guys, maybe this has happened before but I havenít seen it so Iíd jump now...the Ritz has some winter nights for 40k (including the end of year holidays and nights over Yeshiva week)! I just booked 5 nights over Shabbos Hannukah for 160k (32k a night)! And I think you should be also able to use your normal cc Certs for these nights. I know most of you arenít psycho plan a year ahead people like me but just book anyway and you can always cancel!  :P

I wasn't talking about 5 night or 7 night certs.  I was talking about free nights from the credit cards.  They are not currently based on points?  On the Marriott website it currently says: The value of your certificate must cover the entire point value for the redemption night.  This hotel is generally going to be 60k but it does look like they will discounted points rates periodically as well.

Is there any practical difference if you are a Gold or a Platinum member (besides for 4pm late checkout) for a reservation at the Ritzaliya?
I.E. do platinum's get free breakfast?
Shout out to Meshugener!

You need to take the train from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv Savidor, then change for a northbound train stopping in hertzlya. Takes roughly 1h10. Then it's a 10mn taxi ride.
