Sold miles seller tells me not to cash check

All my life( that is a long time -LOL!) people have made many  deposits into my account in many banks , i too have done the same , as long as u have acct # -- just fill in the deposit slip --when i make a deposit in a branch that i am unknown NEVER asked to show proof who  i am

back in the day when I used to make deposits by the teller at Chase, unless I provided id, the receipt wouldn't say the acct balance, just the deposit amnt.

They are usually open from 9

Doesn't sound so promising. Hopefully you can get in touch with them. Do they have a physical office near you which you can go by?

So essentially you are in the same position as when you first posted? Check in hand but can't cash it?

I wonder if anybody else can also say something like this about Chase, I get checks deposited there all the time, never had a problem. I did it to other people too, telling the clerk its someone else's account, was no problem.
