What's not working? They require things that affect safety or emissions control, generally speaking. (IIRC, a cracked windshield can't cause you to fail an inspection anymore, however, you can get ticketing by an officer if he determines that its unsafe to drive as is.)
Mostly working fine, engine light flickers in and off occasionally. Just wanted to know basics, so I don't shlep down for nothing. Thanx

Nothing in particular. I don't think its an emissions issue though. But if the light is on will they still fail the car?

-1 I've have a car pass when the check engine light was on for a few days, off for a few days... If it's in NJ, the light is off when you go for inspection, and it's not emissions related, you have a decent shot.

I have a 2003 honda odyssey EX for sale. 170k asking $1900. In Brooklyn. Has a new transmission so it should be good for a while.
