apparently bc they don't need to pay 3rd party insurance on canadian plates, but I forgot how personal people take things on ddf :)

I can tell you from personal experience that Canadian insurance is much more expensive than in the states. I doubt your thinking you remember is more accurate.

Back in the day. I was a 20 something year old with no driving record, Canadian insurance was on my mother's name; so by me it was cheaper to insure in Canada...

Was trying to compare apples to apples, so this would be irrelevant. However, now that you brought it up, others with same issue should take that into account, and thus the pros for keeping Canadian car Canadian would certainly out way the cons...

I had the car for almost a year never brought it to the mechanic, there is no dents on it minor scratches only. I'd give the exterior a 9/10 and interior close to a 10/10.

Manual Windows and Locks.
8K Miles
The car is in excellent shape inside and out, never in accident and never needed a mechanic. There was only one owner, only reason he wants to sell is he needs a larger vehicle.
