New Hotel Spa Regulations?

Has anyone seen or heard about these new spa rules?

Never seen anything like that. Where was this pix taken? Were there stairs that had to be used to get to the spa? Handrails?

Springhill Suites in Tarrytown. The sign was pinned to a gate between the pool and jacuzzi. They also had another plastic link rope around the jacuzzi. The gate was open and the jacuzzi was full of water and on, just not hot.

Did they have a chair lift at the spa? I've started seeing those much more frequently to allow ppl who can't walk get into a pool. But I have never seen one by a spa, only pools and water parks. (That may be what is too expensive to put in...)

They did have one.

Wow! Now I'm really curios how they weren't in compliance with ADA. It's not a new law, what changed?

But they had a lift.

I think the lift has to be permanent, i.e. built in to the ground.

The rules clearly say that if the Property finds it "too hard" to do that, they can continue to conduct business as usual for pools that were built before the provision went into effect.
