Not specifically, no--but I would say, anything they can do, you can do for yourself as well.

And if you frequent these forums long enough, you can figure out various ways to improve your FICO, naturally over time.

Your point? It's been discussed MANY MANY times that post count, ht's aren't indicative of your knowledge...If you go through this thread you'll see plenty of suggested methods for increasing by a few points here and there--that's all I was implying. Sure, you can pay someone to "repair" your score, but most people on these forums are looking to save and learn.

I've lurked and played longer than i've been a member of DDF  ;)

If you have a late payment on your CR is there any way to get it removed?

Try working it out with the company. They can likely get it removed.

If that doesn't work then "good will letter" is your answer.

Some of the ways they get collections removed do not last. You pay them and a few months later they reappear on your CR's.

It means, writing a letter to said company, asking them in a nice manner to please help you this time, and not report the late payment etc.
Life is as good as you make it...

The way it was removed was not legit. It reappears after a few months.

Others have reported upthread that it went right back up the following month.
