 We're taking in reference to applying for new cc's/ mortgage/ loan  etc.

 They carry less weight as time goes on,  and they do still count after 12 months.

They have no effect on your score after 12 mo's. That is what my statement (2-4 points) was about.

Ok i puled up my score its.... 701

my negative

- short credit history of 3 yrs and 6 months (when i got my green card)

- 1 late payment 4 years ago

- 1 inquiry for a credit card (and unfortunately got declined)

any help how to boost my credit?

i wanna try a 3bm by chase should i do it or it will kill my already low credit?

what means My EQ? and where can i check it?

Just made my wife's 746 her negative was that she has 5 cards carrying a balance

Since when does carrying a balance hurt your credit?
