A report is not a score.
Agreed - sorry. Well TU via Barclays Card. Not sure about the rest.
Barclay is a different model FICO than most banks use discover gives you the FICO model that most banks use
Ok so anyway to get legitimate scores without signing up for Discover?
Barclays just updated again today randomly (updated 2 weeks ago or so). I let some balances go through on some cards so my score went down 20 points. Will pay them all off before next close, hopefully the score bounces back up.
What percent of the CL were those balances ?
17%, 35%, 23%, 21% (I'm an AU). I'm not counting close to 10K on 2 business cards (CMIIAW, but those balances do not get reported). probably a couple more in the 1% to 5% range, but the above were the big consumer ones.
So 20%-30% drops you down 20 points. Does experian go down that much ?
No idea. I don't have a paid myfico thingy. For comparison, my credit sesame score went down from 810 to 752 and credit karma TransUnionŽ New Account Score went down from 782 to 776, Vantage score went from 937 to 883, auto insurance had no change ( though apparantly I'm poor - it's at 814), and Home insurance had no change (894).
Your DansDeals PoppyseedŽ FAKO score just dropped 38 points
Where can I see that?
everytime i see a joke from you and then your serious face avatar i get confused
That better?
JPMorgan Chase (JPM) plans to offer free FICO credit scores to its 10 million Slate cardholders in the coming months. A Bank of America (BAC) spokeswoman said the bank's offering would begin later this year, but would not share any more details.
Since then, Citibank (C), Discover (DFS), Digital Credit Union, the Pentagon Federal Credit Union, and North Carolina's State Employees' Credit Union have also starting offering the FICO score for free to cardholders, according John Ulzheimer, the president of consumer education at CreditSesame.com.
I just got an email this morning. That is now twice this month. Jan 3 it changed and now on the 15th. Hmm
