Is it just me or did the link to the main site disappear altogether??
Do you mean the ticker?
Looks great, but where did the "unread posts" and "updated topics" links go to?
I've got no idea how to code it.
'ddms' => array( 'title' => 'DDMS', // this is how is displayed 'href' => 'http://www.dansdeals.com/', //this is the target link 'show' =>true, // you can modify based on guest, member groups, post count, Etc 'sub_buttons' => array( // for drop down use ), ),
'home' => array( 'title' => $txt['home'], 'href' => $scripturl, 'show' => true, 'sub_buttons' => array( 'ddms' => array( 'title' => 'DDMS', 'href' => 'http://www.dansdeals.com/', 'show' => true, 'is_last' => true, // is the last sub_buttons ), 'is_last' => $context['right_to_left'], // should be displayed the last ),
in sources/subs.phpin the $buttons = array half way down the page insert after the home buttonCode: [Select]'ddms' => array( 'title' => 'DDMS', // this is how is displayed 'href' => 'http://dansdeals.com', //this is the target link 'show' =>true, // you can modify based on guest, member groups, post count, Etc 'sub_buttons' => array( // for drop down use ), ),OR update the home button with a drop-downCode: [Select]'home' => array( 'title' => $txt['home'], 'href' => $scripturl, 'show' => true, 'sub_buttons' => array( 'ddms' => array( 'title' => 'DDMS', 'href' => 'http://dansdeals.com', 'show' => true, 'is_last' => true, // is the last sub_buttons ), 'is_last' => $context['right_to_left'], // should be displayed the last ),
'ddms' => array( 'title' => 'DDMS', // this is how is displayed 'href' => 'http://dansdeals.com', //this is the target link 'show' =>true, // you can modify based on guest, member groups, post count, Etc 'sub_buttons' => array( // for drop down use ), ),
'home' => array( 'title' => $txt['home'], 'href' => $scripturl, 'show' => true, 'sub_buttons' => array( 'ddms' => array( 'title' => 'DDMS', 'href' => 'http://dansdeals.com', 'show' => true, 'is_last' => true, // is the last sub_buttons ), 'is_last' => $context['right_to_left'], // should be displayed the last ),
Isn't there already a link on the left side of every single post? (right next to the words "hat tips")
For a brief period of time, there was a ticker that had the DDMS deals scrolling on DDF. This way you can see the deals and click right into them.
If he adds the code i posted it would look like the attached, very neat & with the flow.
Meanwhile users could click here http://www.dansdeals.com/
I realized that the 3rd line under each profile picture has a link to DDMS :-)
Is it click-able what Device/Browser do you use?
