OP - Any luck?
Many SD cards that people use are fake or very generic companies. They use cheap and fake chips and after a couple of uses corrupt themselves completely beyond recovery. Be careful to only use genuine reputable camera card! For most ppl the data is worth more than the few $ you save by being cheap
The lost.dir folder is created by UNIX based OS's (Mac OS, Android, etc...) to place files that are corrupt or orphaned when the disk is scanned as part of it's repair process. Did you run the repair process using your Mac on the SD card?
Did nadda. Something must've happened when I used it with my phone.
If it was an android phone, then yes....try saving the data to a windows machine...and then assigning the suffix to the files...
Then try running a disk repair on it using the mac...it will prob give meaningless names to the orphaned files, but you might be able to get them back and rename them....
Some Yes, Some NoIf I attach the camera via cable it doesn't recognize it in the Apple photo program on my wife's computer.
If you don't have a mac, what apple photo program does your wife have?
Oh my wife does...but I am not sure what program her computer uses. She just tried connecting the camera and it wouldn't load as the pictures normally would.
