To which ff program do you want to credit the miles?

With most mileage programs you can go to the website and simply enter your name, date and the flight number without a copy of the boarding pass and they will be able to find it and credit it.

If you want to credit to the same airline, you have good chances even without the BP.
But if you want to to retrocredit to another airline, it can be complicated.

In many programs, it is not possible to retrocredit without original BP mailed to airline, in others only a copy (by fax) is needed.   In a few programs, they may accept a proof that you were in the flight (luggage tags).

Everything is possible.

A few years back I took an ELAL flight (JFK-TLV codeshared with Delta), claimed Delta miles upon checking in.
Upon my return, I called AA to get credit as well and the rep told me to fax over the BP's which I tried a few times but every time she would check, the fax hadn't gone through. After about 3-4 attempts she's like: Ok, just give me the dates.... Yes you guessed it, double dipping successful!

double dipping successful!

I do the same with EL AL flights. I fax my BPs to AA, and usually get both.

There was nothing like getting double/triple miles on an award ticket.
Flying from down under you would earn more miles then the award flight cost...
O, the good old days...

I had success with crediting all types of LH flights (including mileage) in one of their partner programs.

What types of LH flights? Awards booked through M&M? Awards booked on other carriers but flown on LH? Because I just finished 3 F flights on LH on a CO itinerary. How would I go about getting that credited?
