txty - i know, thanks, but actually i have verizon too  ;D
i use tmo when i cant use verizon for whatever reason, minutes, service (yes, there are places verizon isnt good and tmo is) now its the phone...
Well, from your previous posts I gathered that you wanted to get rid of your tmoblie plan so I suggested that.
By the way, let me get this straight, you a contract with them just to have them as backup?

but once i lose it i have to go outside and take out the battery again or whatever.
Sounds like more than just the towers to me...
Sounds like the phone has issues as well... Did you have to take out the battery when you used the better phones as well?

i do want to get out the contract, but gave up & got something else for very very cheap and waiting it out - cheaper than the etf.

tmo also says its more than just the towers...

but like i said, a. i remember issues with a better phone i had, but not so specifically, b. i have had a lot of cheap phones with this plan, all about the same, and c. everyone i know with tmobile has the same issue regardless of the phone. but granted, no one with a nexus one or anything of the sort comes to mind. so...

I still agree that T-Mobile is the weakest of the major service providers.
I just have it because it works best for me.
If you're open to others I wouldn't recommended it.

right. i was thinking its 706, but down that block no service. there is a tower there that u can see right?

btw - i checked tmo's site. i give in - i'm really excited - saving me $50 a month now. they added a plan in between 1500 & unlimited. basically, till now for 5 lines your forced into unlimited, & if some lines dont need unlimited still more expensive, whatever. i once argued w/ them to switch me back to my old plan for this reason.

so basically this is pretty good. at least for me. if you dont have tmo i wouldnt go for it - can get better & not worth the hassle still.

thanks for that

btw - 2 ways to save minutes if your really cheap:

A. on tmobile set up google voicemail and dial your tmobile number to place a call.
free tmo to tmo & free call forwarding minutes. havent verified if it works or not yet

B. on verizon add a line to someone w/ 10 free numbers ($10) and make 1 your google voice number.

just got off the phone w/ tmo. had to call about something else...

i switched the plan, saving $60/month now bh
thanks again :)

about the service the guy had no idea. he said i can roam on at&t for free, free roaming in the us. so i asked him why my phone doesnt roam ever. he said it should, i should see a symbol etc. - i said i've never seen that symbol in my life on any tmo phone. said take out the battery it will force it to register again. told him i've tried manually selecting at&t, registration fails.

basically had no idea and after a half hour for the whole tmobile call i gave up

but he said in the last six days there were three service requests in the vacinity of ep & kingston ;)

Binge on is not working for youtube by me. I've tweeted them, but so far they have not been able to help me with why it's using my data limit.
