Haha, I wasn't going to say anything fearing I may be the only one...

In any event, at least to point #3, that's actually what happened... Apparently the system did not impose YQ on revenue fares, and had to be manually done by the reps. So they've now fixed that.

Here's what I think chff is trying to say:

A $1000 fare can be $1000, or it can be $600 plus $400 YQ. US was trying to update their systems to allow for YQ (to be more like AA), so they were switching their fares to lower fares and adding YQ to compensate; and in this case, forgot to add the YQ once they lowered the fare.

Capische?

(Not saying I necessesarily agree with that assessment; just that that's how I understood it).
