LIFETIME BEST OF XM for SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO ONLY $50 FOR LIFE SPECIAL!
1. Call 1-888-GET-SIRIUS (438-7474) and tell them you want to cancel
2. you will be transfered to the sales department (read: you get to talk to someone where english was their first language)
3. Tell them you want to cancel because you are pissed off that Sirius no longer has the NBA games included in their regular package.
4. They will tell you that the NBA games and other great channels are now in the ADDITIONAL "best of XM" package
5. They will say they can offer you "best of xm" for a lifetime for only $100 total so you get your sports games that you used to have.
6. You tell them that this is BS, and why would I want to pay for something that used to be included before the merger??
7. Then continue to say you will pay half of that @$50 for the lifetime because you are concerned about the company going under with their stock price hovering around 99 cents forever
8. They will say they will credit your account $50 to make it effectively $50 for the limetime package of best of XM
9. I then pushed it and asked for 5 easy payments of $10 each.
10. They obliged to my request and charged me my first $10 and I went away with a new lifetime package of sports to add to my general package.
