Elal if im not mistaken

I got the end of the story, and this guys in laws went down to BG and insisted that they not go direct, so they put them on a DL flight to YYZ with a stop in jfk

I find it hard to believe USair would reroute with Elal, but glad they worked things out at the end

Air Canad=Star Alliance Partner
And if it was a reroute with LY, JFK to YYZ would be with AA as LY is a partners (for now). Not Delta.

They can - and must - reroute you on any IATA airline in IRROPS

As Chaikel said, when everything hits the fan, you can ask for pretty much any flight on any carrier. If you get resistance, you just haven't climbed high enough on the totem pole yet.

During a recent snowstorm, my parents' LGA-MIA flight on AA got cancelled and rebooked twice by the automated system, the second time for a day or two later. Wanting to help them get from snow to sun sooner, I called AA and got them rebooked - first on Delta, and then on United, and then back on AA again. So that's all 3 alliances on an Avios ticked.

I credited my US airways flight to UA and it wasn't pulled yet. How long after do they pull, (when could I feel safe) ?

I manually credited my flights again to United after they were clawed back and they are still there.

I credited my flights to my aa acct and they are still there plus I got an 50% bonus miles cuz of the special they are having now between aa and us air.

I think it was a little over a week but my last leg got cancelled due to weather. .

It took over 2 months but US Air clawed back the miles from US Airways Dividend account

Anyone else have this happen to them (only have heard about United clawback) ?
