THANKS NETZIH!!

I am still looking for data points as to whether people skipping the flight to YYZ will get partner credit. I believe the earliest flights available in this deal were in November (although if I'm wrong and people were already able to take some of those flights, please correct me), so I assume we'll have to wait until mid-to-late November for the brave individuals who chance it to educate the rest of us.

1) Don't credit your miles to United. There have been many reports of United miles being clawed!

I just need some clarification to settle my nerves that on my way back from TLV-PHL-YYZ that if I book a flight from PHL to ORD and not take the  YYZ flight then I can pick up my bags in PHL to take them to ORD right?

yup, you must take your bags through customs in phl. I can confirm later today as I know some people on the tlv-phl flight now.

K great. I just booked two business class tix from PHL -ORD and it was 155$ in fees and taxes whats the deal with that? why is there $77 per ticket of fees?

I have tickets to israel through this booking and the one from last night on united. I would prefer the United as it is direct.
I don't want to try to cancel the US air reservation yet because we dont know if the UA tickets will get honored. My concern is getting stuck with both tickets and that would be useless as they are for the same dates.

In case UA honors these tickets, have many people been able to cancel the US Airways reservations recently? There was a very minor schedule change in one of my flights.

Please chime in with advice.

I may not be a mathematician, but it'd seem to me that, in addition to finding a person(s) to split it with, at $75 for a one way rental, it'd take like 6+ people for it to make sense.
