What is my best option? I'm scheduled for a 630 from lga to phl and then at 910 phl to tlv. They don't have 2 seats available on any of the earlier flights from lga to phl. Should I keep on trying to cancel that leg and drive to phl or should I try and get switched to Newark? Or just stay put? Any informed advice is most appreciated:)

Still refusing to reroute on another carrier.
4 HUCA so far. Best I can get is a promise from a supervisor noted on my PNR to change me to the LH flight from MIA in the event of any irregular operations.

I would try to get them to drop it and drive to Philly

Thanks already tried 4 times. They keep on saying that since there is no delay as of now they can't do it. Keep on calling? What should I say?

Ask to speak to a supervisor right away before explaining if its a no go try again don't argue

Got my packages a day late.
They were only going to deliver it tomorrow. I made them crazy to send it with anyone. It got a hitch with an employee.

I have travel insurance which should compensate for money spent on clothing for a day.

Any info on whom to contact for US airways compensation and what to expect?

I apologize if I missed this earlier but is there an inexpensive (or not insanely expensive) way to rent a car from PHL and return it to JFK (or local branch) the next day.

I'm in Israel now and returning on the 3rd.

Update. After spending half the day on the phone to no avail and be told that all the earlier flight to phl were sold out, the customer service reps were able to switch us to the 550 flight!

I got Hertz one way rental to Brooklyn for about $100, I figure it will be hard to shlep luggage to the bus or train and then on the subway from Manhattan to Brooklyn.
