THANKS NETZIH!!

I am still looking for data points as to whether people skipping the flight to YYZ will get partner credit. I believe the earliest flights available in this deal were in November (although if I'm wrong and people were already able to take some of those flights, please correct me), so I assume we'll have to wait until mid-to-late November for the brave individuals who chance it to educate the rest of us.

1) Don't credit your miles to United. There have been many reports of United miles being clawed!

For those who are considering cancelling for refund

Orbitz sometimes charges fees for flights, if you had a separate charge on your credit card for Orbitz (besides US Air charge) then they may not refund that.

If you had a connecting flight with ELAL will ELAL refund your flight cost ?

Pretty sure none of your charges are directly from USAir if you book through Orbitz. Mine were all through Orbitz. I assume they either struck a deal with Orbitz that they'll refund the full fare or they'll just apply a credit to your cc and deal with Orbitz as they see fit.

I got two separate charges one from us air and another one from orbitz (approx $18 p/person).
If you're flying only usairways (no Elal in the mix) than there shouldn't be any orbitz charge

I didn't get it. Anyone else not get it?

Doh. Just realized I didn't book through Orbitz.

I got the email, but the subject for the email said about your trip to Munich! Are they worried about ppl using IL as the hidden city to get to Europe cheap? ???

Every flight ive ever booked through orbitz has been charged through orbitz. I just double checked this one and my charges were "orbitz chicago." Some people (sounds like you included) were charged an orbitz service fee for these flights so maybe when that happens the transaction is framed differently and you are charged directly from the airline for the tickets and not for the service fee. I dont know.

Is your fight connecting with ELAL or other airline in Munich ?
in that case only the flight to Munich is what they are concerned with, not the TLV leg

I can't seem to attach a FF# to my reservations online at this point. I imagine that all these reservations are flagged if you call customer service. I clearly remember seeing the possibility to do that earlier. I'm keeping the tickets regardless and not flying the last leg.
I want able to add a ff# from the beginning. I had to call to add it. (and for done reason it doesn't say good online even though I put my turkish gold ff#)

I would not give them my FF#, and submit it at a later date, (2-3 months) for crediting.............. should work
