Twitter Feed for Sizzling Deals- on DansDeals.com

Would anyone have an interest in a twitter feed (or some other mechanism) which would only include deals above a specific hotness level (i.e. sizzling)? I don't want to get emails/texts for deals which I can browse on a daily basis, but deals which will be dead within an hour and are very hot I want to get notified right away. Any other interest?

Make a DDF thread that people will post in only if there is a very hot deal and subscribe to it.

Guess that could work. I still think it would be better if it was controlled by you and linked directly to the site. All you would need to do is add a hashtag like #hot and people could create custom alerts based on that.

+1 this would vary widely depending on the person. For me discount gc or prepaid cc is whats considered hot. I don't think that this would really work as each person is different.

True. But there are always deals where you'll post Hot or Sizzling, and those are the ones he wants filtered.

yuneeq is correct. I was referring to objectively sizzling deals. Although I've noticed Dan stopped pre-fixing alot of his deals. Intentional?

I think you're a lot better off ignoring the texts you don't need than relying on the deals you do want making onto the "hot" list...

I think we can just trust Dan to use his judgement as to when a deal is hot, and anyone that wants to be sure not to miss anything can just get the texts from Twitter

Dan always categorizes his posts on the main site. (eg. Credit cards, free stuff, trip reports etc) So maybe a filter can be set up to only be notified of new posts in certain categories.

Its not that its complicated. Some people don't like receiving so many texts. Some people don't wanna open every text right away to see of they're missing out on a hot deal.
