According to Dan: The nights post within a week of spending, regardless of statement close.
They expire 12-13 months from posting and can typically be extended by 1 more month by emailing Hyatt.

Best offer out there for now: (Thanks DoGo!)
Go to Hyatt.com make a reservation, click book, and before cc page you will see offer for card with the 2 free nights PLUS $50 statement credit. Looks something like this

Anniversary nights appear in account before annual fee posts.

They have been waiving fee so it's 2500 for 2500, obviously you can load BB at Walmart, or AP cash out.

That translates into purely free spend, only thing it uses up is bluebird capacity or AP spend.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

Thanks. And these can be counted against spend with no cash advance on Ink Plus etc ?

I did it for the 3K Hyatt deal in Q2. They don't ship to NJ among some other states, but for NY it works fine.

yes, the award has nothing to do with the card being open.

Thanks. And how many days must transpire before attempting to open another one?

YMMV I recommend until the card falls out of your chase.com profile, others say as soon as 30 days.

There is no wrong or right....

Just got approved for a Hyatt card and need to book the two free nights before first billing cycle closes.
A chase CSR just told me that Hyatt 2 free nights can be available within 10 days of charge posting even though billing cycle hasn't closed.
I know that's not the case with other cards.
Does she know what she's talking about?

Chase SM HUCA
« Reply #1255 on: June 26, 2013, 03:16:26 PM »
Chipasti v'lo motzosi:
I SM'd chase to ask that the Hyatt visa my wife just got could be matched to the offer for $75 statement credit if I have a booking in a Hyatt hotel - which I do. The response was that that offer is over and it can't be matched. When I opened the Hyatt visa after the offer was over they still offered to match it.

Any point in just sending another SM with the same request again?
Will I just get them mad?
