According to Dan: The nights post within a week of spending, regardless of statement close.
They expire 12-13 months from posting and can typically be extended by 1 more month by emailing Hyatt.

Best offer out there for now: (Thanks DoGo!)
Go to Hyatt.com make a reservation, click book, and before cc page you will see offer for card with the 2 free nights PLUS $50 statement credit. Looks something like this

Anniversary nights appear in account before annual fee posts.

Just check the cancellation terms when you make the booking.  As long as you cancel before the deadline you will get the nights back.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Do you know that for a fact or should I check the terms ?

Sorry I thought your answer was dubious. I realize now , you meant check and then if allowable book, and cancel

Just did 3BM with Chase SW, Ink Bold and Hyatt. Got SW and Ink Bold approved in reconsideration (all thanks to Dan and this site) and still have Hyatt card to go.

I have nothing to make status match with to Hyatt before I would be approved. I also have a trip planned at Grand Hyatt Kauai and used 27K points a night to get Oceanside club room. Wanted to do something more special then regular room (which I assume I can't do with free nights with no status).

Question is, being that I don't need free nights right now, do I wait to try to get better status or do you think this offer won't be around in 6 months so might as well grab it?  Or has anyone churned this card?  Thanks....

I would save the points and use the free nights..then depending on time of stay request an upgrade or just use 6000 points to upgrade to club room....if they have availability the Hyatt is amazing at upgrading you.

You can email Joshua.Olayer@hyatt.com and tell him about your reservation and see if you could get upgraded to an ocean view room or something similar.

Any definitive answer as to how long these nights usually take to post? They say two billing cycles (CSR from gold passport) and if thats the case then i won't bother even applying because i need these for january... anyone have any experience with this?

True.  I did this about 3 months ago and it posted within 2 weeks of the initial spend (it may have posted sooner than that...I just never bothered to look).

@ Busmachine    I have  2 free nights and my wife has one and hopefully she will get her next one within 10 days .

I am a little confused because she received an email that she will be getting free award night and I don't know if that is the second of two in any Hyatt hotel , or her yearly free in cat 4 .

So bottom line I have 3 any hotel in hand and enough UR TO get 4 th night at Ph PARIS VENDOMME.

FIRST does anyone think 5 nights in Paris is overkill.  And second would this Joshua help me out in booking
The room for 5 nights with only 4 nights in hand .

Also I am hotel res manager in Athens hotel and might he give me courtesy industry upgrade ?

CMIIW, but I think the original RSVP must be made under his creds, though there may be a way to switch it.

But, yes, if his creds get attached to the RSVP, you should get Diamond bennies.
