Had this card over 2 years ago. Called Hyatt and confirmed that the cardmember bonus hit the account on 4/14. Application pending with explanation via letter stating i received a new cardmember bonus within the last 24 months.

Called recon, and supposedly the award hit the account on 9/2/14. She said I should call back after that date and have it reconsidered since the app will still be valid and post 24 months.

Any thoughts if that would actually work?

Was told that they don't pull report when you are denied for having the same cardmember bonus within 24 months.
Since there's no report on file, I have to submit another app.

Can check your CR to see if they pulled.

Just got an email saying that if I sign up for this card I would get 40k hyatt points. On chase.com it is still 2 free nights so if you were planning on signing up for this card I would do it ASAP

The reverse AMEX/SPG. I really hope this stays for another week. I'm eligible for the bonus next Tuesday.

DP: I made a dummy booking for a Hyatt and was able to pull up the old offer (1k spend for 2 nights, $50 statement credit and 5K for adding AU). Not sure if there's an annual fee on this version but I confirmed the sign up bonus via SM. Applied about two weeks ago.
