According to Dan: The nights post within a week of spending, regardless of statement close.
They expire 12-13 months from posting and can typically be extended by 1 more month by emailing Hyatt.

Best offer out there for now: (Thanks DoGo!)
Go to Hyatt.com make a reservation, click book, and before cc page you will see offer for card with the 2 free nights PLUS $50 statement credit. Looks something like this

Anniversary nights appear in account before annual fee posts.

Why would this not work like UA?
It should.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

It should.
Ok just waiting for Hyatt to get back to me on my Hyatt Diamond trial and then I will go for it with the Ink Bold. Fingers crossed that it goes through without 2 pulls.

Re: HYATT CARD 2 AWARD NIGHTS AND $75 STATEMENT CREDIT!!
« Reply #647 on: April 17, 2012, 12:42:06 PM »
just want to share my experience,

I sent an SM after getting a hyatt card last week requesting a match to this offer, i received the same generic response as EliteFlyer and

the others, i responded with this:

Dear Sancho,
Thank you for your prompt reply, it is my contention that
may have confused the offer i am talking about with
another, the offer i am talking about includes no hint of
a stipulation as to a hyatt booking made on the day of the
credit card offer.
please take a good look at the terms and conditions of the
included link, thank you for your continued consideration!
Steeeveknowsbest

https://www.hyatt.com/hyatt/chase/ICOffer.jsp

I got this response today;

Dear Steeeveknowsbest,

Thank you for contacting Chase about ****.

I have received your recent inquiry, and I am happy to
advise you that once the $75 annual fee is assessed it
will be reversed on one of the follow two billing
statements.

If you have any further questions, please reply using the
Secure Message Center.

Thank you,

Sh***** M*****
E-mail Customer Service Advisor

So basically ya gotta be persistent!

Also interestingly i got the "no" and the "yes" from the same two people as EliteFlyer did.
So first they gave me the reservation on the same day BS, then I sent them the link that doesn't show qnything about it and they answered me that they can't do anything since its more than 90 days since I opened the card.

yup that is standard policy.

It sounds like you would have got it otherwise.

Not advising one way or the other, but you may want to be cautious.

That being said, I'd love to know the churnability :)

I wouldn't count on it, expect 2 pulls.

Considering how many times the question has been asked (search "churn hyatt" and tick show messages), I'm surprised nobody reported it here yet.

I plan on using my 2 free nights at the Hyatt in Maui. I know that the 2 nights will be in a standard room. Can I book the 2 free night and pay the difference to be in an oceanfront room?
Thanks

Hyatt Credit Card
« Reply #657 on: May 17, 2012, 02:32:52 PM »
I signed up for the Hyatt credit card.  It says that it takes 10 days for the 2 free nights to post to your account.  Does it really take this long?  What has your experience been?

Also, the offer is now two free nights and a $75 statement credit, essentially making it free for the first year.  I did not sign up under this offer, but will definitely be asking for a match.
