According to Dan: The nights post within a week of spending, regardless of statement close.
They expire 12-13 months from posting and can typically be extended by 1 more month by emailing Hyatt.

Best offer out there for now: (Thanks DoGo!)
Go to Hyatt.com make a reservation, click book, and before cc page you will see offer for card with the 2 free nights PLUS $50 statement credit. Looks something like this

Anniversary nights appear in account before annual fee posts.

Hi just tried to match my recent hyatt card to add the extra 100$ on the phone it sounded like they would match it but this is the letter i got, any advise?

AdviCe. Make a refundable booking that you'll cancel later and send them the reservation number. Worked for me twice.

I just got approved for the hyatt  CC a few days ago , right away got charged the 75$ AF .
I did not get my card yet but when i logged in to chase i saw my Hyatt account is closed and they refunded the 75$ AF .
So i called Chase and they told me that the card was returned to them (I missed UPS ) so they closed the account , but a supervisor re-opened the account and i will receive the card in a few days .
do you guys think they will charge me again the 75$ AF ?
+ i signed up with the 100$ statement  after first purchase  :)
20 days already and no AF (+ i got 100$ credit statement! )

How long does it take for the free nights to post once you've spent the $1000 ?

So i just read the past 2 pages, and i would like to get the 100$ cr. I sm'd them and the wrote this back to me

Our records indicate that your account was opened with an
offer to receive 2 Free Award Nights after $1,000 is spent
within 100 days of the account open date. The offer to
receive an additional $100 statement credit was for
customers who had made a reservation online with Hyatt and
opened the Hyatt Credit Card account from Chase. If you
have met this criteria, please provide us with the
location of the Hyatt Hotel and confirmation number so
that we may confirm the booking date.

If it is determined that a hotel booking was made, we will
be happy to honor your request for the $100 statement
credit. If a hotel booking was not made or was not done on
the same date of the application, we will be unable to
honor the request for the statement credit.

If you have any further questions, please reply using the
Secure Message Center.

Thank you,

Suzanne Harrington
