According to Dan: The nights post within a week of spending, regardless of statement close.
They expire 12-13 months from posting and can typically be extended by 1 more month by emailing Hyatt.

Best offer out there for now: (Thanks DoGo!)
Go to Hyatt.com make a reservation, click book, and before cc page you will see offer for card with the 2 free nights PLUS $50 statement credit. Looks something like this

Anniversary nights appear in account before annual fee posts.

Hi, i need to close my united explorer card as chase wont give me a bonus to keep it before the annual fee hits. Is the hyatt card a good card to apply for & close the explorer card?
I have/had lately: southwest, sapphire pref, freedom mc, BA

Hyatt is great.

Ask for 50$ credit.
That is the current offer.
Or ask the AF should be waived.

I just booked my 2 free nights.

Does anyone know if there is any way to be upgraded to suites (I am only Platinum) if I already have the card?

Thanks

No way

Call the hotel and ask nicely if you have status in any other loyalty program . Tell them you want to
switch to Hyatt as your hotel of choice.

Can't hurt .

Looks like Hyatt points can now be used to book MGM hotels in Vegas ... Looks good for hotels like Bellagio and THEHotel during peak season when priced flucate but point redemptions don't.
Pleas hold. Your call will be answered in the order it was received.

Blowing 22K points in LAS should be a crime.  There are always deals there.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

They should be the cheapest hotels in the Hyatt chain. I don't think there's really that much value in Diamond though.

Will Hyatt match from Starwood Gold?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

I got it. It's 2.2 Hyatt points per dollar, provided you spend exactly 10.

I would do as many Chase GCs as possible, and then switch to VRs.

However, any initial bonus has higher priority than this, so we'll see how the summer goes.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

I received 5K points after 3K spend...seems like low reward amount for $$ spent, no?
