According to Dan: The nights post within a week of spending, regardless of statement close.
They expire 12-13 months from posting and can typically be extended by 1 more month by emailing Hyatt.

Best offer out there for now: (Thanks DoGo!)
Go to Hyatt.com make a reservation, click book, and before cc page you will see offer for card with the 2 free nights PLUS $50 statement credit. Looks something like this

Anniversary nights appear in account before annual fee posts.

Not true. They were talking about suites

OK, great! Can you help explain that? Is the 2 free night offer I got for regular rooms as opposed to suites?

FYI for anyone who managed to apply through this link: The two suite nights just posted to my husband's Hyatt account. Now to SM to try to waive the annual fee and get a $50 credit.

No clue. Maybe if you status match now you can call them and ask...

Trying. They said I need a statement with a stay in the past 12 months. Don't have that...

October 22. We have a couple of screenshots of the offer (without the date, unfortunately), but we didn't need to contact Chase or Hyatt about anything.

They're waiving the annual fee but not giving $50.

Dear Mr. Kangarruu,

Thank you for contacting Chase about your account ending
Xx.

I understand that you have concerns regarding the annual
fee associated with the account listed above. Though the
offer you refer to is a new offer, I am pleased to match
it. I have issued a credit for the $75 fee, and you will
see the adjustment on your next billing statement.

The offer to receive an additional $50 statement credit
was for customers who had made a reservation online with
Hyatt and opened the Hyatt Credit Card account from Chase.
If it is determined that a hotel booking was made the same
day, we will be happy to honor your request for the $50
statement credit.

If a hotel booking was not made or was not done on the
same date of the application, we will be unable to honor
the request for the statement credit. If you meet the
terms, please provide the confirmation number of the
reservation booking made so we may match the offer.

If you have any further questions, please reply using the
Secure Message Center.

Thank you,

Xx

Is there any one with Hyatt diamond status that can check for room availability and possibly book from their account?

I'm trying to book at the Hyatt Beaver Creek but it looks like the rooms are unavailable and I recently lost diamond status for guaranteed availability.

TIA

DIA doesn't have expanded award space.
Unless you call and grovel for the property to open some or get a really good DIA phone rep to do that for you.

Thanks I will try to find his email address somehow I guess.

What did you think of the hotel? Worth 22k? The rack rate in January is only $296...

I used free nights.
Its an amazing hotel, though others in the CO thread slightly disagree with me.

A suite during skiing season can be over $800 per night.

Hyatt rep just topped up my account to book a reservation at the PHP. She said "Well, you're platinum" and transferred > 1000 points on the spot!
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.
