According to Dan: The nights post within a week of spending, regardless of statement close.
They expire 12-13 months from posting and can typically be extended by 1 more month by emailing Hyatt.

Best offer out there for now: (Thanks DoGo!)
Go to Hyatt.com make a reservation, click book, and before cc page you will see offer for card with the 2 free nights PLUS $50 statement credit. Looks something like this

Anniversary nights appear in account before annual fee posts.

Nope. You get the same two nights as everyone else

Can you use points to upgrade to nicer room when using your 2 free nights?

When you try to book a room the cc info is on the first page where you enter the guest info as well.  There was no cc offer.
Do you need to be logged in?

I know you no longer get the suites if you are a diamond but is there still suite upgrades with paid stays for having the credit card if you are not diamond?

Just a data point, I churned the hyatt card with a new hyatt number and received the free nights.

Did you use the same address as the previous FF# and CC had? I saw a report a while back that said you needed a new address on both, although new address on CC doesn't make sense.

Sorry for asking a real noob question, never done this before so I just wanna clarify,

1) I'm looking to book the GHK in january, if I have two free nights from 3 different cards for a total of 6 nights can they be merged together for one stay? & do I do it on the phone before I arrive or at check in.

2)If I get a Diamond challenge when should I request to be upgraded ?.

TIA
