Good point, it's just that when I'm looking at them, I'm usually not in my natural habitat...

It's enough to tell them to compare with the locals and a city, I guess

In general, with any of these calculators, you have to assume a margin of error of +/- 2 minutes.

Take today for ex., Google and MyZmanim (and probably e/o else) have sunset in NYC (Zips that I checked) at 7:41; Chabad.org? 7:43!

Unfortunately, the fact is there are many who for whatever reason (intentionally or not) do take it to the last minute sometimes (I confess), and this is a bit unsettling.  I mean we're not talking about davening mincha here...

Why not write to them and ask why they say 7:43?
