There's a lot of value in knowing who is liking the post, not just that any DDFer (or number of DDFers) like(s) it.
Also, much of the time +1 means "I had the same experience", not "I like your post". That is also a very valuable thing that would be lost with a "like" button.

I'm sure there is a way to see who liked a post. I'm part of other forums in which members are able to like a post and I love it.  When I see a post with a lot of likes I can be reasonable assured it's credible and accurate

I see you FTFY yourself.  Yes, the notify button just under the wiki only helps if the thread is way down on the unread thread list.
 
I, too, am looking for a way to have people see an updated wiki (as in Friendly Reminder thread) when no posts are BUMPing the thread.

I have a [1] next to My Messages, and every time I open DDF I get that popup box, but I can't find any unread PMs! I went through my whole list and none of them say NEW.

Has anyone else had this?

I had that at one point, was really annoying, I don't remember what got rid of it in the end...

it would be great if ddf would use the theme reseller or at least let users choose this theme.
it's responsive & it looks great,
i can make it into a android app if dan wants (i don't understand why one needs tapatalk i never used it though)
