For the first time ever (for me at least), a DansDeals article appeared in my 'articles for you' feed on chrome on android. I always get stuff from other points/miles/travel sites, but never DansDeals until now, even though it's my most-read travel site. I guess something about that article caught Google's eye, although that's surprising in my case, because I don't follow any sports, and I'm sure Google knows that very well!
@Dan it could be worth looking into how to get stories into people's lists, as that's how I found some of the other sites that I now visit more frequently. I imagine it could drive traffic to DDMS, and I assume there's gotta be some data out there on how Google classifies websites/posts, kinda similar to search engine optimization, just to learn how Google picks these things.
