I think he’s mainly talking about random one off people trying to buy or sell something, not active users making a separate account. Although that does sometimes happen too.

Is it feasible to have members without certain post count. 1 not open threads,2 restricted from posting in certain threads ?

I've had the issue when opening with Tapa, but not on mobile browser.

Exactly. Many times non members browse the forums, and then join to pm a meber to buy something. IIRC, that's how I started here.....

I dont really understand what its combined to begin with. Deal board should be set for alerts for actual deal posts. Deal requests doesnt require alerts for when someone posts asking for a deal.
