1) it could be a similar bug as the one for polls on DDMS (something to do with the filters)

As for the suggestion, I'd recommend opening the link to the thread in a new tab, and closing that tab when your done. That way you would still have your original list. (Alternatively without the need for using a new tab, after clicking on the first thread, instead of hitting show unread replies again, just go back a page and it should have cached the previous page with the full list)

Can we please have a politics board separate from JS, and posts won't either count there?
It's really annoying to step over all the politics threads.

1. Can there be a setting to be notified anytime you're quoted (or is there a way to do that now)?
2. It would be cool if hat tip posts were linked to people's profiles, not just the count.

You can search Dansdeals.com for a person's username and you'll get a list of the hat tip posts.

Maybe it's a functionality that can be added?
I, for one, don't continuously follow every thread that I post in, but if someone is replying to my post, I'd want to know (I usually just make sure to check back for the next day or so).

On a similar note, but even easier - maybe the "posts: 123" on the side of every message can be linked (just like "total likes: 123" is) directly to that user's posts. Just a shortcut instead of clicking profile and then show posts, it would make it one click.

Post in small font size and in white, and only if someone clicks on the quote button will they see it clearly.
