Reload cards.

-1. They have some type of debit card you can buy in store. Someone posted a picture earlier. Not sure what they are.

I think it was mentioned above but you might want to consider getting the biz debit mastercard.   It's free,  easy to sign up for and allows you to spend down a balance on your PayPal account.  You can pay some CCs via debit for example,  or purchase MOs to be deposited.

Much safer than loading and withdrawing or transferring. Also earns 1% cash back for 'purchases'.

Max loading for mycash is $500 per day up to $4k per CALENDAR month.

I currently have 4 locations to purchase mycash reload cards with a CC.   Instead of hitting one of them hard I rotate locations.

Easy way to mix in another $4k of spend monthly.
when u say business ,u mean to upgrade your paypal account type to business account! And they send u a Mc (debit)if u request for one? The debit was around for a while so what changes now, that your able to buy my paypal cards and reload them onto your original debit card? Thanks

LOL at this thread.....

Just google "paypal business debit card" and a nice page will come up telling you how to apply.  There aren't any special requirements here.  At most, you may need a premier account but business paypal account is not a requirement.  I've had a card on my personal paypal account for many years.

Once you have the biz debit card linked to your paypal account, it will automatically use whatever is available in your paypal account balance first.  Then it falls back to whatever you set up as a back up funding source.  This can either be paypal credit, paypal extras mastercard or paypal smartconnect.....or a bank account of course.

The mycash reloads let you load up your paypal balance (up to $4k per calendar month, $500 daily)...you load these from the comfort of home.  Then go spend down your balance with the business debit card.

If this isn't making sense there's nothing else I can really say.

When I try to link a new bank account I get the following error:

Sorry, we are not able to process your request. Please try again later.

I tried a different browser, same error.

Any ideas?

I haven't tried venmo before with this but I still think your safest liquidation options are going to be regular spending,  paying whatever bills you can by debit,  including some cards like Citi and Cap1,  and of course anywhere you can buy MOs via debit.

Note that as of Feb 2016, PIN less debit no longer earns 1% (source DoC).

I actually don't plan on using Venmo to liquidate. May have to send someone a lot of money via Venmo so figure why not get 1% back (as long as I won't be shooting myself in the foot).

As for the PINless debit not getting 1%, RadPad and Plastiq are still getting 1%. Have a feeling the new policy is only when you swipe it in a store and don't input the PIN.

in Walmart, even if you select credit when purchasing, the transaction is still processed as pin less debit

Could not pay Cap1 today so scratch that one from the list.  I think Citi is fine though....at least it has been.

I'm not sure when Cap1 stopped working but I told the guy I was using my Paypal Business Debit card, and I Had just completed several sales on ebay (truth).  I just said I wanted to make the payment without having to transfer my paypal balance to an outside account.  He just said their system didn't allow them to process that card.

I just called Citi and completed a payment no problems at all for $2500.

As with all things, just call your banks/card issuers and try.  That's the only way to find out what works and what doesn't.
