I just got the card (prepaid master dc) and today noticed my balance $5 short. In acct he, it had a $5 "monthly debit fee" what is that?

that is the prepaid card and it does indeed have a $5 monthly fee (4.95 to be exact) the debit card is fee free

yes it shows reload able but at least in my experience you will not be able to reload in Walgreens.

it has a balance on it, not connected to your reg personal pp acct

You're right. Earlier, I asked about different be tween biz and regular and was told that there's no difference except 1% back. I guess I'll switch now but ugh. Now have to burn loaded $ asap. Any chance they'll waive the fee for a month?

Isn't there no fee on the business payapl dbt card, so why do u ask if there going to waive it ?

Correct. To clarify, I got the non-biz because Earlier comments on the thread did not indicate a fee as a difference between the cards. Now I can switch but still owe the fee from the reg card.

definitely worth a call to paypal and tell them u want to switch and avoid those fees,huca.....(if it's worth ur time for those 5$)

I called twice and both said can't get rid of fee. FYI, First person said the two cards (i.e. biz and personal) are run by two different "financial institutions." I ordered the biz card and in the meantime, will find a way to clean out the regular one and cancel before next fee. Thanks.

There is not a biz and personal version of a card. They are two completely different products. It is unsurprising that you are unable to covert between them.

There is the PayPal Business Debit Mastercard which is a debit card linked to your PayPal balance and gives 1% cashback on signature transactions. It is available for signup online only for Premier and Business accounts through your existing PayPal account. Separately, your PayPal account can be loaded with PayPal Cash cards, but it is risky.

There is a prepaid Paypal Debit Mastercard product that you buy in a store. It has a fee and is inferior to other prepaid products out there.

+1 I did not get it back for a MO. I did get it back for my rent payment via radpad.
