You can start with things that one might assume are more common knowledge, but most people are oblivious to, such as Shabbos observance, Kashrus, Torah education, etc. etc.

Knowing about something that is outside one's realm, will come from either getting a targeted education about it, or from encountering something and following curiosity. Being that many of us live in Ghettos, many have never seen certain things until a later stage in life (and sometimes not even then).

I happened to be in the car today and heard on the radio the Michael Savage show being introduced as "the most exciting talk show". I was so stunned that I could have made an accident. Of all adjectives in the English language, exciting is one that I wouldn't put together with Michael Savage in my wildest dreams (or nightmares).

Does anyone find that exciting?

For the life of me I can't figure out how anyone could find any excitement in Michael Savage's voice or delivery. Listening to him is a form of torture IMHO.

And while I might agree with him more than I would agree with Ron Kuby, I find Kuby entertaining, thought provoking, and possibly even exciting. 99% of the time if I hear Savage, I just can't move the dial fast enough to get away from his show.
