I think people on DDF are too free with their "+"s. There are many numbers between 1 and 10, and even more between 10 and 100.
+99.999999999999999999
it's a good thing you ended your 9s. Because a repeating decimal of 9s equals 1
Well I didn't want to keep my finger on the 9 forever....Did you ever wonder about this?1/9 = .11111111...2/9 = .22222222...etc etc8/9 = .88888888...but 9/9 = 1?
Alternatively, 9/9=.999999999...
For two values to be different there needs to be a difference (as in subtraction). Since there is nothing you can subtract from one to make a repeating decimal of 9s they must be equal.
What would be 1-.1111111111...
Why is it that in 2014 I still can't email documents to a government office? Seriously is the government the only organization in America still using fax?
wouldn't it be 1-.000000....0001
Quite sophisticated if they are up to date with fax.Go deal with the IRS when the're still with snail mail.
They have been trying to for the past few years, but the paper lobby is slowing it down.
Snail mail I can handle, at least I have a mail man coming to my house every day, who has a fax machine these days?
