why is it, that the only good cholent (IMO) in beis yisroel area, doesn't have a hechsher?

Sitting with a few friends discussing Purim, my wife mentioned that our 2 kids, 1 is dressing up as a cow the other one is being a lamb but we didn't know what we were doing for ourselves yet so one of our friends suggested we dress up as butchers... :-\
