Regarding #2 I once heard from a mashgiach that things were created in their complete form for example Adam was an adult and therefore if you were to cut open a tree it would have rings showing it was around for X amount of years even though it wasn't.

Since when do we have to "deal" with carbon dating anyway? ?

I have no problem with the facts in the Torah, the way they have been submitted to myself and all of klall Yisroel for generations...

Its one thing to take casual interest in new "scientific" findings. But to imply that we have to somehow answer, subscribe to, and reconcile our Torah shleima to their "discoveries" is laughable. They themselves admit that they have such a miniscule understanding of the world... We should be concerned??

Why do I care what science says about the meraglim grapes. It's shteit in torah and therefore it's true.

I don't think you need to have the answer for carbon dating (i personally don't have such an interest in these things). But to dismiss carbon dating out of hand just because scientists don't acknowledge giants strikes me as silly, disingenuous and lacking intellectual honesty
