Driving time it's about an hour or so however the last 15 minutes in Bratislava could take up to 45 min or so with traffic crossing the bridge. Also you need someone to come and open the kever for you, when I went I waited about an hour or so. Leaving Bratislava and back to central Vienna took us about 45-50 minutes. Sounds doable to me.

What do you need to know?
This being your hometown I nominate you to make a wiki

Hotels (points), shuls, kosher food and must see sights. I'm sure Davidmal will help you format it if you give him the info

Will iyh be heading to Vienna /Budapest the week after Sukkos
Right now I have reservations for
Hotel Nestroy, Vienna
Tue, Oct 17 - Thu, Oct 19 $397.71 (2 rooms)
Any reviews on this hotel? Is it worth the hassle to go for a brand name hotel? (I would have to eeither buy vouchers or points)

Also does VIE have lockers where a can leave a few duffel bags for the week?
Thanks
