Looking for The Berenstain Bears books
« on: June 29, 2025, 12:28:10 AM »
My son (special needs) is obsessed with Berenstain Bears books. He reads them nonstop, but they rip quickly and it’s been getting expensive to keep replacing them.

If anyone knows where I can get a bunch cheap — used is totally fine — or has any to pass along, I’d really appreciate it.

What's your location?

If I may suggest, when you get books, cut out each page, laminate them all, and then use a 3 hole punch to put them back together in book form.

Once you get them, laminate the pages.
Either take apart the books, laminate and staple back together, or cover each page in clear contact or the equivalent.
This should make them last.

Ebay is a good place to check. I see some lots of the soft covered ones for $1-2 a piece like this https://ebay.us/m/1DxC2k

I'm in brooklyn.

My problem is that he is smart and he only likes "original books". Laminated ones are not "original enough" for him.

Thanks for the lead! That's definitely a good start.

Just to explain what I'm going through, he can sometimes keep a book whole for an entire week straight or he can rip 10 of them in 5 min
