Flying Turkish Airlines JFK>TLV - where should I credit the miles?
« on: September 09, 2013, 08:24:04 PM »
My son is flying to TLV via IST - he has no FF accounts at all.
Which program should I sign him up for?
I don't anticipate that he's going to be flying much at all in the next few years, so first preference would be for a program that I can easily transfer the miles to another account (if possible)
If such a thing is impossible, where would he get most out of these ~10,000 miles?

he's flying L and T class

what do the experts here say?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to respond!

Maybe look into EgyptAir, that way you can credit both yours and your sons miles into one account.
That way you won't have to transfer into another account.

Thank you for the advice.
I'm not going along, so I won't be collecting any miles anytime soon either.

Can I transfer UA miles from one member to another?

Not for free. But you can book a ticket for friends or family out of your son's UA account.

BTW, welcome to DDF.
What kept you so busy since June '08?

Unfortunately, not travel!
I don't travel much and my credit is shot, so I've just been lurking, without much to contribute.
But hopefully I'll be able to be more active now.

Thanks for the help

And you stopped there?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Its class P, I see united, miles & more, us airways don't offer for class P.
Anywhere to credit them?
