Chase extended 1 year warranty repair or refund

Last year i bought a Dell refurbished laptop for $325 with a 1 year warranty.
Right now it does not boot up unless you shake it. We have another laptop in the house to use.

If I had used AMEX, I would wait 1 year and 1 day make my claim and most likely get a refund without needing any return or repair estimate.

For some reason I used my Chase Sapphire MasterCard? How does it work with them?

Although AMEX would have been the better card to use, do not understand why not send back to Dell.  Your post makes it seem like you are within one year.  IME (more than once) have been successful to have them honor a warranty past expiration date, when: I had a problem prioir to expiration, and returned the computer, they fixed it and then returned to me.  The problem seemed corrected, but somewhile after the warranty expiration, the problem (or similar enough that I could claim it was the same) came back.

Reviving an old thread.

Am thinking of making a large purchase with a CSP instead of an AMEX. Anyone have experience with the purchase protection (120 days it seems) or Extended Warranty coverage on the CSP?

I would consider putting it on an AMEX if it really is a major difference, but otherwise prefer the CSP for this specific situation.

What's purchase protection?
I recently filed a return protection claim (purchase protection?) for a $89 item. 

They require the item to be mailed in. 

Other than that,  it was smooth bh

I believe there is a limit,  so "a large"  purchase may not be covered.
