Update: Finding it be more slippery than I originally thought. 
It slides off my leg while sitting, it'll slide off just about any surface, even flat, if it doesn't have grip on it.

Update: My back glass cracked already.  I had ordered a case already because I was scared of how delicate this damned phone is. But apparently it was too late. My back glass cracked from a simple tumble.

I leaned my phone on its side on a gate,  while it was sitting on a concrete slab. It tumbled and shattered continuously for 5 minutes, sounded like popping pop corn. No drop. No airtime. Just a simple tumble from its side to its back and it shattered the entire back.

Any hope of getting it replaced for free? Will they claim it's my fault and not defective, extremely inferior hardware?
I think I might need to tell Google or LG that it slid off my table as that has happened to me before and it's more likely to get compensated or replaced that way.

It doesn't require root. Read the thread they linked to- the OP and last post on the first page. I understood that the 2nd link in the OP would be the right version for the nexus 4.

I finally received my case 2 days ago, I wish it had come just a drop sooner.

I'm actually very happy with my case, paid just $1 plus $.74 shipping on eBay, and it's a very high quality bumper with a perfect fit.

anyone have the best combination for phone-enhancing apps? right now I have screebl and juicedefender running but have also heard things about battery doctor and snapdragon. Anyone with any insight is greatly appreciated

To think that I still didn't root my nexus 4 is simply embarrassing.. Back in the days of the HTC touch pro's I was literally flashing Roms daily..

Ehh overrated cm roms are for people who want stock android you already have that.
Unless there's a specific thing you want your phone to do you have the most fastest and most stable version of Android that exists.

I shattered my screen last night and paid 850 nis to get off replaced with a oem one today in Davidka, just wondering if anyone knows of a place that would've done it for cheaper?

the android 4.3 update barred sending more than a certain number of text an hour. Regardless of the app you use. I just rooted my phone, i hope now i can get around it.

Condition is: Fully functional, flawless screen. Minor barely visible scratch on back. I upgraded it to latest version of Android, 4.4 Kit Kat. It is unrooted, but I could root it for you if you want.

Original packaging, everything in tact. Pictures can be uploaded upon request.

I have bought multiple nexus 4s from Amazon for  $200 with shipping, and seen them for 180.
