Should be pretty easy to use a VPN to spoof your location.

That's true but I am wary of the security issues of using a publicly offered VPN program. If I would have a private network VPN it would be another story. In the meantime my only option is using Teamviewer to go through a friend or relative in the States.

If it's something you really need you can get a reliable VPN for pretty cheap, especially if you just need it for depositing checks and don't need much data.

Been like that for a few weeks if not months now.  (I know from the massive increase of people asking me about VPNs  :P)
You can use www.vpngate.net for this.

Works for me too בלי עין הרע. But I don't have a smartphone of my own so I was pretty heavy on 360.

Since November I haven't been able to deposit a check but until now I got some generic error message. All the reps had no idea what was wrong. (No, I didn't tell them I was overseas.) In Nov I even tried from a US based PC using Teamviewer but I got the same error message. This week was the first time I got the overseas message.

No way. I waste enough time at my PC.

A laptop doesn't fit in my pocket so it's easier to get away from that yetzer hara than it would be if I had a smartphone. However, this is not the right thread for discussing whether or not to have a smartphone.

Sorry that I'm late to the party here... But trying to follow... U guys are depositing US checks with dollar amounts into ur Capone (and spoofing location).. but that doesn't help me unless I have a buddy in states that consistently needs to buy shekel... Can I deposit an Israeli check into capitalone? (Obviously with the spoofing). I suppose I can open a dollar account and then write Israeli leumi checks to myself and then deposit them? But is that what anyone has done? Or only American checks? TIA
