Mid priced?
I知 not sure exactly what mid priced means. I知 assuming it means somewhere between a fast food joint and an upscale restaurant. This is in between, albeit maybe a bit closer to the fast food prices.

Friend in town for London.
I was goin to go to Izzy's but I then realized that the Hasgacha is under the OK. That will not be good enough for him.
Not looking to spend a lot of money.
Suggestions?
Anywhere in Brooklyn is okay.

By the way, what's the incentive for a restaurant with such a limited menu as Izzy's to not have a better hashgacha? I once saw a delivery there and at least part of the order was from Solomon's which is as good as it gets in the hashgacha on the meat itself.

I know that OK is next door and all the reasons to have them, but why not add another more widely accepted hashgacha?

I'm confused. Why are we assuming OK is a second rate hashgocha?

well for the chasidim (I mean the BP and Williamsburg type not CH) they don't consider ok a "heimishe" hashgocha so it doesn't matter if it's better or worse in reality, they won't eat a non heimishe hashgacha.

For everyone else (barring those who won't eat from lubavitcher hashgochos) ok is good albeit probably not as good as ou when it comes to restaurants.

Personally I would rely on them 100%

OK is chasidish !!!
The bias is because there's no yiddish words, and the look is similar to OU....

But this is really a top tier acceptable hashgacaha.
