For fast food, definitely recommend Holy Schnitzel on U or Retro Grill on Coney Island Avenue

New places - not too many.

Old places, you have some staples in flatbush like Josephs dream burgers, Essen, olympic pita etc.

But with time, unfortunately with most places the food quality drops at the prices keep going up.

Kosher Family Chinese on 18th ave got a new hechsher called UK. They were previously under the OK.

Anyone familiar with the UK hecher? Anyone know why they lost the OK?

If they don't even have the same name, is there any reason to assume they are the same place at all? They were Glatt Kosher Family when I lived in the neighborhood. (Granted, around 15 years ago.)

I don't know how price compares but I've had some great meals at Meat

Actually ended up going to Meat (we showed up to Alenbi and it was closed with no sign and their phone went to voicemail). We had a very nice time.

What are the accepted Hechsheirm in Brooklyn? I'm going to meet someone who is worried about Hechsheirim. Is this accepted? I have no clue.
